How do I connect my parent’s phone?

1. On their phone, open Funstead.
2. Tap Settings, then Family Connect, then Show pairing code.
3. On this website, open your family, tap Family, then Connect … phone, and type the 6 numbers. Or scan the square code on their phone with your phone’s camera.
4. Their phone asks “Connect to your family?”. They tap Yes, connect. You can talk them through it on a call.

When do new photos show up?

The next time your parent opens Funstead. The website shows “Up to date” once their phone has everything, or how many photos are on their way.

Why does a photo say “Not used”?

The phone checks every photo, just like photos picked on the phone itself. It skips photos that look blurry or very dark, screenshots, and pictures of documents. A sharper photo will work.

What does my parent see?

New photos appear in their games (jigsaws, memory cards, card backs, the photo of the day) with your caption and “From Sarah”. A gentle card on their home screen says “3 new photos from your family”. Pinned games come first; hidden games disappear from the home screen but are still in their Settings.

Is there anything to buy?

No. Family Connect is included with Funstead Games. Up to 6 family members, and the newest 1,000 photos per family.

Can my parent stop a photo or a person?

Yes. On their phone they can hide any photo (and report it to us), stop photos from one person, or disconnect. The organizer can remove a person, and block them from rejoining.

I didn’t get the sign-in email.

Check Spam or Promotions. Links work once, for 15 minutes; ask for a new one any time. Still stuck? Write to support@funsteadgames.com.

My parent got a new phone.

Install Funstead on it, then connect it the same way. Disconnect the old one on the Family page. Every photo comes to the new phone.
